Dealers Market ("LDS").
This
800-page, one-of-its-kind publication will have approximately 65,000
listings of movie posters for sale, including condition and price, from
LAMP dealers from around the world. It will be the largest compilation
of posters for sale ever printed. Prices range from under $5 to over
$15,000. The LDM will also include records
of the top selling 1100 posters.
It
will be 8-1/2 x 11, spiral bound to lay flat while open for ease of
use. We have scheduled a very short print schedule to ensure that prices
are as current as possible. The print will be larger than most standard
catalogues and price guides.

LAMP DEALERS UNITE!
We
learned so much from last year's Cinevent that we have decided that
LAMP needs a presence at more movie poster and collector shows. We represent
some of the best movie poster dealers, restorers, framers and suppliers
in the world, and we need to bring this information to the collecting
community that is NOT on the internet.
Our
first LAMP show will be the Hollywood Collectors Show at the Hilton
Burbank Airport Hotel February 16-17, 2007. We hope to have a very active
and interactive table setup. We will have a computer set up to demonstrate
the LAMP family of websites; will bring our new L.A.M.P. Dealers Market
and our Learn About Movie Posters books on hand for sale; and will provide
flyers, coupons, brochures, etc. from all of our LAMP dealers. We will
be there promoting our dealers and sponsors who are unable to attend
the show.
If
anyone is going to be in the Burbank area on these days, please come
to the show and visit our table. We're always happy to talk posters
with fellow collectors and dealers.

HERITAGE DOES IT AGAIN
Vintage Movie Poster Auction Breaks $1.5 Million Mark for the Third
Time
Heritage
Auction Galleries' latest Vintage Movie Poster auction, held on November
14 & 15 in the company's Dallas, Texas world headquarters, realized
$1,577,723 for 1,175 lots offered. This is the third time that a Heritage
movie poster action has surpassed the $1.5 million mark.
In
that sale, Heritage had 10 additions to the $20,000 and up Sales Records
and a total of 47 posters that sold for over $5,000 - see the Top Selling
