FAKE REPORT

Because of all the controversy, this is one of the hardest for collectors to verify authenticity. We hope that we can help sort this out a little more for you.

There have been 3 major fakes of the 'Revenge' poster. This is not counting the 27x40 reprints both licensed by Zig Zag and unlicensed.

The first fake was done from a folded poster so there are fold lines showing in the printing. It was not the best quality, but to the novice, it was good enough. To cover the fold lines in poster, they folded the posters so you have to look real close at the fold lines.

The second was done from a rolled poster and was pretty good except the 20th Century Fox logo is fuzzy.

The 3rd fake was beautiful. It looks perfect except for one little flaw. On the original poster, the bottom right corner is solid black. The fake has a couple of little clouds. It looks like it's suppose to be there because just above it is clouds. 2000 of this fake were made in Japan and shipped over and crashed the 'Revenge" market for a while.

The fake will have clouds in this area like this:

They look like they belong because clouds are just above.

UPDATE

Until recently, the known fakes were of the Dated Version of Revenge and NOT the undated version.....

GUESS WHAT!!!

Fakes of the No Date Version have now come to the surface. They measure 27x40 or 27x39 7/8 and are have primarily been rolled. The measurements should be alert you that it's a FAKE.... but also the 20th Century logo is also a dark blue instead of a lighter blue...

Notice the difference from the logo above.... SO BEWARE!!
