We have been collecting since the mid-1970s and been in every phase of the industry, from collecting; buying; selling; dealer; wholesaler; and retail store owner.
We wrote the first reference book on the hobby in 1997 called Collecting Movie Posters released through MacFarland Publishers. We closed our retail store in 2000 and turned exclusively to research. Since that time we built numerous reference sites getting over 3 million visitors a year, released 9 more reference books (see our research books in our Bookstore), designed the only cross-referenced database on film accessories (MoviePosterDataBase.com), and been expert witness in 4 trials.
We specialize in film accessory information that is hard to find, such as tracking lithographers/printers, poster artists, logos, plate numbers, NSS documentation, movie still production codes and histories. We are trying to preserve this information before it is lost forever.
We have been mentioned in dozens of magazines such as Star Wars (5 times) and Inc. and quoted in hundreds of articles.
We are dedicated to building a digital repository for film accessories and have almost 90,000 posters online and cross referenced.
