Posteropolis

Dave Rosen of Posteropolis now has two videos posted on YouTube. The first, a tribute to exploitation movies called Mondo Bongo Postero, is set to a killer soundtrack by Nine Inch Nails. The second, The Thing That Hung on the Wall, is an homage to horror movies over a mix of Bernard Herrmann music from the films Cape Fear, Vertigo and Psycho. John has just added a large collection of hardback movie books including a first edition of David O. Selznick's Hollywood and many more rarely used quality books with dust jackets at very affordable prices. You can also find autographs, magazines. posters and other memorabilia.

LAMP REPORTS

LAMP MEMBERS AND SPONSORS

We have turned on the Artist Lists under each country for you while we continue to work on our new Expanded Artist pages. These lists will give you titles that we have credited to artists whether or not we have posters available.

For those who handle French material, we went through 1000 French posters pulling more information. We have drastically expanded the Visa de Censure Log AND now added a new French Printers Log with clips showing the printers addresses and when they moved. When you cross reference these 2 logs,it drastically improves identification of French reissues.

We have a new Belgium Stamp Log to help identifying those 30s to 70s Belgian reissues.

We're getting ready to start re-working all individual country web pages. We have a TON of new material to add for both the general public access AND Member Only access.

ALSO - For our Members and Sponsors who handle Press Stills - we have several thousand new numbers to add to the Production Code Logs, but I have held them up because we're getting ready to create a new Stills Section - just for Stills.

IMDB UPDATES

We now have over 1,500 links to the LAMP website on IMDB. These links have increased our visitor traffic, and IMDB is now one of the top URL referrals according to our stats program.

We know that many collectors love to see images of their favorite movie posters. Since we are adding new images daily, we wanted to make it easy for our visitors to know which titles have new images or new posters for sale.
