Cameo Kirby - Dir: Cummings; Cast: Murray, Terris. Film set in New Orleans, SUPPOSEDLY with stock Mardi Gras footage.

Dixiana - Dir: Reed; Cast: Daniels, Marshall.  Musical set in New Orleans with king and queen of Mardi Gras. Exterior shots were taken IN Louisiana.

Land O' Lee - Castile Films travelogue - partially shot in New Orleans and other parts of Louisiana.

Leather Pushers - 10 Episode SerialDir: Kelley; Cast: Richmond; Blane.  Episode #5 titled “Mardi Gras” set in New Orleans.

Way of All Men, The - Dir: Lloyd; Cast: Fairbanks, Revier. Drama partially set in New Orleans (in the BASEMENT of a speakeasy!)

Belle of the Nineties (a/k/a) It Ain’t No Sin - Dir:  McCarey; Cast:  West, Brown.  Drama partially set in New Orleans.

Dixieland - Narrator: Kennedy. Documentary filmed partially in Natchitoches.

Handy Andy - Dir: Butler; Cast:  Rogers, Wood. Comedy with scenes set in New Orleans.

Lazy River - Dir: Seitz; Cast: Parker, Young.  Romantic drama with some scenes filmed in Golden Meadow and the shrimp camps of Lake Barataria.

Masks and Memories - Dir: Mack; Cast: Roth, Smith.  Musical comedy set in New Orleans.

Moth, The  - Dir: Newmeyer; Cast: Lucas, Page. Comedy drama filmed in Colorado with some stock footage of New Orleans Mardi Gras included.

Wicked Woman - Dir: Brabin; Cast: Christians, Parker.  Romantic drama set in Louisiana.

Banjo on My Knee - Dir: Cromwell; Cast: Stanwyck, McCrea.  Comedy with some scenes set in New Orleans.

Gentleman from Louisiana - Dir: Pichel; Cast:  Quillan, Sale.  Drama with some scenes set in Louisiana.

Green Pastures - Dir: Connelly. Cast: Anderson; Ingram. partially filmed in New Orleans on Rampart St.

Mysterious Crossing - Dir: Lubin; Cast: Dunn, Devine. Drama set in New Orleans.

Rainbow on the River - Dir: Neumann; Cast: Breen, Robson.  Musical partially set in New Orleans.  Reissued in 1945 as It Happened in New Orleans.

Show Boat - Dir: Whale; Cast: Dunne, Jones; Musical drama with some early scenes set in New Orleans.

Valiant is the Word For Carrie - Dir: Ruggles; Cast: Howard, George; Drama with some scenes set in the fictitious Louisiana town of Crebillon.

Old Louisiana a/k/a Louisiana Gal - Dir: Willat - about the Louisiana territory Purchase and shipping through New Orleans, but no storyline involving Louisiana.

On Such a Night - Dir: Dupont; Cast: Richards, Morley; Drama with some scene set in Louisiana.

When Thief Meets Thief - Dir: Walsh; Cast: Fairbanks, Jr, Hale; Crime drama with some early scenes set in New Orleans.

Buccaneer, The- Dir: DeMille; Cast: March, Gaal. Adventure tale of Jean Lafitte, with some scenes filmed in New Iberia, and some scenes set in the bayous of Louisiana. Golden Poster print available on this title.

Old Hickory - Dir: Seiler; Cast: Sothern, Bryant. Short biographical drama with some scenes set in New Orleans and surrounding areas.

Way Down South - Dir: Goodwins, Vorhaus; Cast: Breen, Mowbray. Drama set in pre-Civil War Bayou Lovelle Plantation in old Louisiana.
