Subway posters are normally displayed in a horizontal format. A smaller vertical alternative is the Subway One Sheet which measures 29x45 and is approximately 1/2 of the 45x59 Subway 2 Sheet. They are in a vertical format and are quite often just considered an odd sized one sheet.

These posters were popular primarily in the 1970s. They were issued in New York for major films and some premiers.
