Door panels were a very specialized advertising tool,
normally released for major productions or special theatre runs. They
were issued alone or in a set of posters. They normally contained their
own unique artwork, normally featuring characters, and measured 20"
x 60". They were primarily used for display on theatre entrance doors.
They were printed on both card and paper stock.
The sample below is a set of five door panels issued for
the 1950 movie All About Eve. The artwork features the five main
characters in the film.
