History
Livingston is named for Edward Livingston, a prominent American and Louisianan jurist and statesman who assisted in the drafting of the Louisiana Civil Code of 1825.
Livingston Parish was created by state legislature in 1832.

 

2005

Dukes of Hazzard, The - Dir: Chandrasekhar; Cast: Scott, Knoxville.  Action adventure comedy partially filmed in Baton Rouge, Clinton, French Settlement, Jefferson Parish and New Orleans.

2006

All the King's Men - Dir: Zaillian; Cast: Penn, Law. Drama thriller set in the 1950’s Louisiana and filmed  at the Albania Plantation in  Jeanerette, Donaldson, the fairgrounds in Livingston, Morgan City, New Orleans and the State Capitol in Baton Rouge.

2013

Demented, The - Dir: Roosevelt; Cast: Ewell, Brian, Kohnke. Horror sci-fi filmed in Baton Rouge, Hammond and Springfield.

2014

Classic Restoration - Dir: Gaudet; Cast: Acosta, Aristidis. Short filmed in Baton Rouge and Denham Springs.

Smothered - Dir: Schneider; Cast: Hodder, Mihailoff. Comedy horror filmed in Baton Rouge and Holden at John Schneider Studios.

2015

Exit 14 - Dir: Salcedo; Cast: Sizemore, Schneider. Horror filmed in Holden at John Schneider Studios.
