LAMP ANIMATION SERIES

Warner Brothers

Daffy Duck

Daffy Duck first appeared in Tex Avery's Looney Tune "Porky's Duck Hunt" released April 17, 1937.

Some say that there was also the earliest prototype of Bugs Bunny in this release. The following year, "Porky's Hare Hunt" was released on April 30, 1938 which is considered the birth of Bugs Bunny.

Unfortunately, posters for Daffy Duck were issued as Stock and Semi Stock posters and NOT individually made posters . I have marked when the stock posters were issued. I have divided the Warner Brothers Stock posters into 2 groups of Looney Tunes Stock Posters and Merry Melodies Stock Posters. Daffy is featured on both groups. I've marked which one it is by {LT} or {MM}. I've started adding the Blue Ribbon {BR} and putting the release date in parenthesis ().
