2005 has already been a record-breaking year for LAMP.

For the week ending 02/13/2005, we had over 35,000 collectors/ visitors on our site. This was a single week record until this past week (ending 02/20/2005) when we topped that at over 38,000 collectors/visitors.

In honor of Black History month, we have written several articles featuring the pioneers of "Black cast" films, including the great Oscar Micheaux. The general article can be found here. The article on Mr. Micheaux can be found here. We have movie poster images from some of his films in our Movie Poster Data Base, which can be accessed through the Oscar Micheaux article. We also have images from other black cast films, from silent era to current.

We have also added the following new articles to our Reference Section of LAMP:

Disney's "Shrinking" Pressbooks
Victor Cornelius
Jesse L. Lasky
W.W. Hodkinson
Richard E. Norman
Zanart Publishing

Our new Poster Artist Index allows visitors to look up artists by name. From here, you'll be taken to either a country or a studio.
