German First in Film

*The first presentation of film in Germany was made on November 1, 1895. Max and Emil Skladanowski presented 8 short films at Berlin Wintergarten using a projector of their own creation. This was the FIRST PAYING exhibition in Europe.

The first film produced in Germany was those shown by Max and Emil Skladanowski which was dancers from several different countries, jugglers, acrobats and a Kangaroo boxer in 1895.
