We wish EVERYONE a SAFE and GREAT holiday season. Unfortunately, Sue is tied up with the final layout of the National Screen Service book (I only untie her to work:) so you're stuck with ME this month for the newsletter... EXCEPT for the legal update on the lawsuits. (ok, I untied her to do that too). The National Screen Service Poster and Accessories Number Log publication covers 50 years of NSS poster and accessory numbers from their beginning with the numbering of posters and assessories in 1940 until their change in numbering systems in 1989. This publication was created from the NSS work logs, and reflects what NSS distributed AND what they PRINTED for other distributors, literally giving a blueprint of the US film industry for over 50 years. It's a combination of three different sources making it one of the most accurate and reliable single sources ever compiled on NSS.

UNIVERSAL HORRORS FAKE MOVIE POSTERS
There has been a significant development in the ongoing investigation of the fake Universal Horror posters. Jaime Mendez, the restorer who was alleged to be the creator of the purported Universal fake posters, came forward and offered his sworn statement regarding his involvement with these fraudulent posters. Also, a former employee of Mendez also submitted a sworn statement regarding his personal knowledge of the situation. These statements will have a tremendous impact on the FBI investigation as well as the two civil lawsuits which have been filed in connection with these fake posters. (we wake up from nightmares of NSS numbers attacking us!!!) You KNOW that we are releasing our new book on NSS Poster and Accessory Numbers.... POSTER EXHIBIT at WARHOL MUSEUM
A few months ago, we were approached by the Andy Warhol Museum to help with information for a poster exhibit that they were planning. We were more than happy to help them, and we just got in some sample programs that are being given out at the exhibit. Then we said... Hey.... Wait a Minute... Poster collectors don't even KNOW about the exhibit.
For those in the Pittsburgh area or anyone going through there from now until January 31, 2010, the museum is presenting a special movie poster exhibit of over 200 obscure movie posters in a special exhibit called..... "SUPER TRASH".
We have the exhibit list.... You DON'T want to miss this exhibit if you're anywhere near.

Alice Guy Exhibit - For those who don't know, without Alice Guy Blache, the film industry would be drastically different. The woman who started filming stories in France as Gaumont's secretary - the first woman director - the woman who came to the US and built the most aggressive and progressive film studio in New Jersey - AND the first woman to own a studio (Solax Films) - she produced more than 100 films with synchronized sound between 1902 and 1906 (some 20 years before sound revolutionized the film industry). Alice Guy wrote, directed, supervised and produced over 1000 films. The film world owes a GREAT DEAL to Alice Guy Blache - AN UNSUNG HERO AND TRUE FILM LEGEND.
The Alice Guy Exhibit is going on NOW through January 24th in New York at the Whitney Museum. If you are in the area, DO NOT MISS THIS GREAT EXHIBIT. Here is more info

THAT'S RIGHT... We've updated the Top Selling Posters List. You can see the Top 10... Top 25... Top 100... Top 250... Top 500... Top 1000 and EVEN THE TOP 1500.. AND we've also added several hundred new links into the archive. We're trying to get ALL the Top Selling Posters showing in the archive for all to see. We EVEN updated the Top Selling British Poster List, The Top Selling Italian Poster List, AND The Top Selling Belgian Poster List. We will be working on the others soon.
NEW ADDITIONS - PRODUCTION CODES
This new section presents the production codes that we have compiled SINCE the release of our 2009 Production Logs book. This is where we will continue to compile ALL new additions until our next book update which is planned for 2011. So hopefully, we will have gathered several thousand new production codes before then :).The new section is at the bottom of the Production Log page.
NEW MEMBER RESEARCH MAIN PAGE
We have put a new Member research page online. As we continue to expand both our LAMP Member sections AND the new Global Research Sections, we are beginning to try to organize and make it a LOT easier to find that special research that you're looking for. (Just wait for the massive amount of NEW research going online this coming month!!)

This is BY FAR, the MOST COMPLEX AND UNIQUE archive on the internet. We are building this extremely complex system to give YOU access to information that you can't find ANYWHERE ELSE.
We have prepared 4 tutorials to show you HOW to utilize our archive better. Now, unfortunately, because of have to see writing on the pages, we have to use a SLOW loading program so it doesn't lose the video quality. It takes 2 to 3 minutes to load a video. So I placed all 4 on the same page so they will all be loading at the same time, so once you view the first video, the others are immediately available.
