Allied Pictures Corporation was founded in
1931 by M. H. "Max" Hoffman. Hoffman also owned Liberty Films. Hoffman
became indebted to Herbert Yates of Consolidated Film Service for film processing.
In 1935, Yates foreclosed and took the assets and merged them into his newly
formed Republic Pictures.
By the time the company folded in 1935, they
had made 25 features, half of them Hoot Gibson westerns. Here's the list of
