SONIS is one of those companies that drive poster
dealers and collectors totally NUTS!!!
Sonis was formed in 1965 and BOTH supplies theaters
with posters AND gets the licenses to produce material for RETAIL
sales to the public.
In addition, they sell licensed reproductions
of US One Sheets, TV series posters, postcards, T-shirts, sweat-shirts,
caps, Calendars, frames, mugs, and masks.
I've been trying to get an interview with a company
representative to find out more about their markings.. but so
far have been unsuccessful. I'll post the results here as soon
as I have more info.
