Mexico First in Film

The first presentation of film in Mexico was made in August 15, 1896 by Salvador Toscano Barragan at 17 Calle de Jesus in Mexico City. A Lumiere camera and films were used.
The first film produced in Mexico was Don Juan Tenorio in 1898.
The first feature film over 1 hour was
Fatal Orgullo in 1916.
The first 'talkie' in was Mas Fuerte que el Deber in 1930.
The first color film was Novillero in 1936.
